Varicocele Embolization

Varicocele embolization is a non-surgical procedure used to treat varicoceles, which are enlarged veins in the scrotum. During the procedure, a catheter is guided to the affected veins, and a special substance is injected to block blood flow, effectively closing off the varicocele. This minimally invasive technique is performed on an outpatient basis, offering a shorter recovery time and fewer complications compared to surgical alternatives. Varicocele embolization is a highly effective method to alleviate symptoms such as pain and infertility associated with varicoceles, providing patients with a less invasive and efficient solution to this common vascular condition.
