Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat conditions involving the aorta in the chest, such as aneurysms or dissections. During TEVAR, a stent graft is inserted through a small incision in the groin and guided to the site of the aortic problem using imaging. The stent graft is then deployed, reinforcing the aorta’s walls and redirecting blood flow.
